Bar Mill Iron Forge produces only custom forged products, working hand in hand with local architects, designers and builders. We specialize in items such as railings, gates, fireplace accessories and screens, lighting and furniture. We are active in the design process in most of the projects we are involved with and we encourage our clients to express themselves in that process as well. Our goal is to produce items that contain the qualities that stand the test of time, with respect to design and craftsmanship alike.

Bar Mill Iron Forge is owned and operated by Bill and Pam Moore of Big Timber Montana. Our business emerged from a long time hobby of blacksmithing in 1991. Bill graduated from Warrington Farrier School in 1974, and later completed a course of study at Turley’s Blacksmithing School in 1991.

Our shop is composed of a core team of smiths: Bill Moore, J.P. Jones, a graduate of Turley’s with over fifteen years of experience, Kyle Cox, who graduated from Gunter Blacksmithing school and has over ten years of experience, Levi Roberts and Brian Smith.
